Matt Reed

History

As a baby Matt was born in West Virginia. Shortly after, he was transported to K-town, TN where he grew up listening to Def Leppard and Eazy-E, longing to be a fighter pilot. He once told his 3rd grade teacher he found a new way to do subtraction. She said, "No, you can’t do it that way" so he walked out of class never to return. From that point forward Matt questioned everything. He knew he loved his NES and rolled deep on a 286 powered by GEOS and Prodigy.

In his later years he showed up to college and tried out for computer science but failed poorly. This was nothing more than a speed lump in his quest for creative enlightenment. This drive drove him all the way across campus to the Art building where he found his way in Graphic Design. Happily he graduated and moved to Nashville, married his awesome wife, and had the privilege of helping build a web design company from the spare bedroom of an apartment into a 12 person super-crew powerhouse. He now resides as a professional internetologist exploring the human potential of technology at redpepper.

Anonymous asked: I think I am overloaded with all my social networks. Is there a tool to help me keep up? I really want to win the internet bad pls.

Hey there Mr or Mrs Anonymous and thank you for this question. I have been getting a lot of people asking me the same thing so this comes at a great moment. First off let me say you are not alone. For a while there even I had a hard time keeping up with all my social media.

Of course I typically am running 79 twitter accounts, 13 facebook pages, 32 tumblogs, and 12,793 facebook user profiles. I was handling it fine for a while but then the 79th twitter account put me over the edge. I said to myself, “this is way too much, even for me!” As you know, this can’t be a problem in my field so I needed to find a way to manage all of these accounts.

Luckily I spent a couple hours webprogramming and webdesigning a social media management app (That’s short for Application) together to help underwhelm you in your quest for winning social media and making bank. Here’s what you need to do to use it.

Step 1: Sign up for all of your social media accounts

Step 2: Tweet @mcreed (that makes it so only I can see it) me all of your usernames and passwords for your social media accounts so I can enter them in my management system app for you.

Step 3: I will send you one email every Saturday between Noon and 3:20pm with all of your social media feeds and news. I will The system will have highlighted the ones it thinks are worthy of pursuing and engaging in more engaging behaviors with.

That’s it. Please allow 90 days for me to set up all your accounts. After that you will start receiving emails on Saturdays.
